Alba combines your preferences with course and tee data to build a shortlist for your round. The simulator library, course difficulty and package availability come from the Trackman course catalogue, read on 2026-09-22.
Tee lengths, slope, Course Rating and course characteristics are added from the real course's scorecard and the club's own hole guide, with the source shown on the course. 471 of 580 are checked so far; the rest say so.

Which tee should you play in a simulator?
Open the course and its tees are there to pick between, from the real scorecard, each with its slope. With a handicap given, we mark the one we would start you on; a longer tee is one tap away, and you see what it costs. Tee names in the simulator can differ from the scorecard, so choose the nearest length.
Where does the difficulty come from?
The Alba grade, 1 to 10, starts from the simulator library’s own difficulty rating and is moved by the slope and by what is on the course: water, carries, trees, width. Give a handicap and it is for the tee we suggest, so a forward tee can sit a few steps lower. Slope and Course Rating come from real scorecards and apply to one tee, so the same course can be gentle from one tee and brutal from another. Every slope on this page is for the tee we suggest from your handicap. Sources are linked on each course and below.
How does it pick a course?
From your handicap it picks four: one at your level, one a step harder, an easy one and one you have probably heard of. Say what kind of course (links, parkland, coastal, mountain or desert) and it keeps to that; how much trouble it puts in the way follows your handicap too. Another set gives four more.
